In October 2022, Krystal Valley Farm held it’s inaugural women-in-agriculture farm tour. 15 women that had expressed interest in learning more about the farm in order to start or contribute to their own, visited KVF and learned more about our maize, tobacco, livestock and citrus operations. The full day tour, was a how-to on all matters of starting up one of these commodity chains.

In 2023, the farm intends to expand these educational offerings. This will include an online course set to launch in March, and development of several handbooks covering business plan development, and specific agriculture techniques such as regenerative farming, to guide women in running successful commercial farms. Look out for the launch of these products!
